TINA MINJU LEE

Architectural Engineering Student

Tina is currently in her 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University. In May 2019, she will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in mechanical systems and two minors in Architectural Studies and Chinese Language. Ms. Lee is an active member of a number of professional and student organizations one of which is the  American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). She was previously the Vice President of the Asian Student Organization and is currently serving as the treasurer of the Penn State Chapter United States Green Building Council (USGBC). 

 

During the past summer, Tina participated in a mechanical engineering internship with Loring Consulting Engineers in Washington, DC. These experiences provided her with valuable experience and insight into the design, coordination, and construction of variety of building types. Tina passed her LEED GA exam this past January and is expected to take the FE exam in the spring. In the short term, she looks forward to beginning work as a mechanical engineer for a consulting or AE firm to gain knowledge and practical experience in the MEP profession and to obtain her license as a Professional Engineer (PE).
